Latest Session of the Weaponry Seminar

A presentation entitled “The World of the Samurai in the Mountings of a Sword” was given by Yevgeny Borisovich Skralivetsky, an expert in and collector of Japanese weapons, the author of numerous books. The talk aroused interest not only among specialists who study weaponry, but also among researchers into the decorative and applied art of Japan. At the end of the session Alexander Nikolayevich Kulinsky, a member of the National Association of Weapons Experts, acquainted the gathering with Resolution No198 of 28 February 2019 “On the confirmation of the Rules for the Accreditation of Experts on Cultural Valuables”.
